You should be prepared for the quiz by being familiar with the following:

• How data is represented to the computers
• The various components of a modern computer system
• The various components of a modern computer system, including how these components relate to and assist each other, as represented by the Information Processing Cycle, or IPOS
• The various categories of software and examples of each
• The decimal, binary, and hexadecimal number systems and converting between them
• How computers use the ASCII table to represent characters in decimal, binary, and hexadecimal notation
• Study your Binary Hex lab as well as your "Buy a Computer" homework.  There will be questions from both the lab and homework.
