Dennis O. Flynn is currently working on projects associated with the ‘birth of globalization’. He has published/edited eight books, is General Editor of a 19-volume series entitled The Pacific World: Lands, People, and History of the Pacific, 1500-1900, and has authored 40 scholarly articles. During a Fall 2004 sabbatical leave, he is an Academic Visitor at the London School of Economics, working on a book (co-authored with Arturo Giráldez) on world history for the University of California Press.
