Background

We're often not home enough to give lots of attention to a pet like a dog, and I'm allergic to cats, so in Nov 1997 we compromised and got a rabbit. Good thing too, as we were running out of things to take pictures using the digital camera (that is, when there's no soccer). Click here to see a collage of pictures of our young one.

More Skiing

Here's some pictures we took over January Break 1997 while we were at SugarBowl. Two are of us -- proof positive that (a) we actually can stand up on skis, and (b) we actually did wear the L. L. Bean hats our friend Sal sent to us for Christmas. The other is a picture I snapped of Mt. Disney which I thought was neat (and NO, neither of us can ski down it). Since we took these pictures, I've switched from skiing to snowboarding. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures to prove it. I did take one cool video of a top-to-bottom run at Sierra Tahoe in 2002, but it filled up my memory card. Besides, I did a face plant at the end so it wasn't really all that flattering.
