KPAC's first annual Fest of the Best featured four Musical Fusion bands: Susurrus Rex, Alida, Avon Union and Euphorah, with a few more bands scheduled by Musical Fusion. The event featured an extensive schedule with many local rap artists in between each band, a car show, numerous local businesses, live DJs, an art show, dance performances, and a few sports games such as a wrestling match. This was also the debut performance for each of the Musical Fusion bands that played.

Susurrus Rex played for about 15-20 minutes, while Alida, Avon Union, and Euphorah played for around 30 minutes. Phillips Shum recorded the performances, and the footage is available. With a lot of work from the KPAC staff, this event went smoothly, and was a success. KPAC is planning on making this a yearly event, and will return next fall with Fest of the Best '08.
