How To Use the
New Musical Fusion Site

As you know, Musical Fusion has a new website! We are excited to finally be using this tool as a part of our club. This article will lay out exactly what the website will be used for regarding who you are and what your affiliation is with the club.

The website is organized into 6 key sections: News, Bands, Bios, Events, About Musical Fusion, and a contact page.

The News Section is accessed from the home page and will be a list of content updates on the website and news about the club. Old news items will be placed in the news archives, which you can access from the home page.

The Bands Section is a collection of all the current formed Musical Fusion bands on campus. This is a great way to keep up with Musical Fusion bands, as these pages will be updated constantly. Each band's page has information on the members, and a space for their band bio. It will also include the band's upcoming events, recent past events, and a media section with pictures and videos. There is also a section for past Musical Fusion bands.
If you are a band member, please read this important information.

The Bios Section has the individual pages for each member of Musical Fusion. We have prepared various questions to ask the members of Musical Fusion in their bio page. This is used as a networking tool to connect musicians to each other.

The Events Section holds all of the information on upcoming and past events that Musical Fusion has been a part of. Each important event will link to an article about it; usually these will include pictures and videos from the event.

The About Musical Fusion Section holds a lot of important information about the club and what it has to offer. It will be updated as Musical Fusion expands and can provide more for the campus. We will soon be adding an officer system to involve more members of the club with the administrative aspects. The officers will be listed on this page.

The Contact Us Section, finally, has information on how to contact the administrators of the club.

Other Important Features:

Practice Room Schedule
This will be kept as the ongoing schedule bands will use to coordinate the use of the classroom building practice rooms. The link to the practice room schedule is on the submenu bar of every page.

Upcoming Event Page
Each upcoming important Musical Fusion event will have an event page with information about that event. The link for this page will be in the event section and on the submenu bar of every page.

Band Classifieds
On the Bands page, there is a space for band classifieds. This is where members looking for bands and bands looking for members can advertise what they're looking for. We allow bands and individual musicians to use this space whether or not they are registered as members of Musical Fusion as long as they are students on campus, though we would like all of the school's musicians to become members.

Add New Bio
In order for a member of Musical Fusion to add a new bio, all they have to do is click on the Add New Bio link in the Bios Section. They can then input their information, and it will get sent to the administrators for approval. All they need to do then is email a picture for their bio page to the email specified on the Add New Bio page.
