Expectations

The vast majority of Engineering Management Students choose to double major, and therefore also belong to one or more additional student organizations on campus. This means our members tend to be some of the busiest students on campus, and that a limited number of events per semester can be planned.

Thus, it is up to ASEM to focus more on the managerial aspects of engineering, and to work with other student organizations to develop successful joint projects. To that end, ASEM strives to provide experiences for better corporate awareness and a practical background on large engineering projects.

Meetings

Meetings are held by-weekly on the first and third weeks of each month during pacific hour (12-1) on Thursdays. The meetings will generally be held in the fluids lounge, but if scheduling does not permit that, they will be relocated to Khoury lounge.

Annual Events & Activities

ASEM has no specific annual events. At the beginning of the semester a topic of mutual interest is decided upon by the membership. This translates into the officers trying to arrange at least two speakers and a field trip related to the selected topic.
