XA in General:
In 1998 Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship involved 10,000 students on more than 210 U.S. campuses and has a close association with hundreds of other groups around the world. The Greek letters Chi (x) and Alpha (a) are the initials of "Christou Apostoloi" a phrase written by the Apostle Paul in Second Corinthians 5:20. Translated it means "Christ's sent ones" or "Christ's Ambassadors". The name is a reminder that we should live to reflect Jesus. We take our mission and vision from Second Corinthians 5:16-20 which says, "So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's Ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you, on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God". We gather in the midst of the campus community as a people of worship, prayer, fellowship, discipleship and witness. Who we are:
