| DAC is a conference specially geared toward juniors, seniors, and graduates. In my personal opinion, I would only recommend such a conference to seniors and graduates. This conference stands out as unique among the others offered through PCF, in that it focuses on life after campus. The general theme of the conference is how to continue your walk in discipleship and evangelism once you've stepped into "the real world." The conference uses the gospel to emphasize taking up our cross and following Jesus where the battle really exists--on our jobs and in our daily lives especially since people tend to loss their spiritual support after college. One might also expect to hear a session on the importance of being a good steward when it comes to God and our money. Expect to deal with issues concerning giving, both into the body of Christ and as directed by the Holy Spirit. There may also be a portion of time dedicated to expanding your understanding of local and overseas missions, accompanied by testimonies and prayer times. Throughout the two-day conference you will engage in a number of group activities including discussion and prayer time. This conference is one of the most challenging to which I have gone and anyone planning to attend DAC will be given a lot to think about concerning their future. |
