The Pacific Christian Fellowship is an inter-denominational group composed of students at the University of the Pacific. We are one of many chapters of the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, present on over 500 college campuses nationwide. The preface of our chapter is to have fun in college while living a life of integrity. To do this we keep one another accountable to our commitments in our walk with Christ. Within our chapter here at Pacific, we study scripture weekly in what are called Small Groups, take part in a weekly fellowship gathering called Large Group, and seek out opportunities to serve our friends on campus and in the community. Our fellowship organizes around three off-campus conferences per semester. These off-conferences range anywhere from two days to a week long, and serve as perfect opportunities to escape the cares of the curriculum and submerge ourselves in in-depth scripture studies. One of the most well known conferences that PCF attends is called Urbanaa conference of grand proportions. This particular conference only happens once every three years and accommodates over 20,000 students from universities from all over the US; you may get a maximum of two chances to go to this conference over the course of your college career, if you're lucky. This was just a quick overview of our chapter, please enjoy your visit to our fellowship's site. |
