A bunch of bros return to the house after eating out. They park in front of the house, and as they get out of the car a white SUV pulls up. The guy in the passenger seat says, "Excuse me, but what fraternity lives in that house over there?". He was of course pointing to our neighbors. I answered, "They used to be Archania." With a sad look he asked, "What happened?" I looked at him and said, "You must be an Archite."

We will never see the day when one of our alumni asks some random guy "What happened?" when he comes back to visit the campus. More details on the fall of Archania ...DING (this link will be repaired shortly)!

Our alumni have become leaders on campus, and all over the world. There are over 1500 alumni bulldogs throughout the entire United States, and worldwide, in over 22 different countries. That combined with the DU International Fraternity adds up to thousands of DU's worldwide.
If you think that's impressive, take a walk around campus and see if you can count how many buildings and athletic facilities share names with Omega Phi's. Knoles, Eberhardt, Monagan, McCaffrey, Eislen, Kjeldsen, Zuckerman .........the list goes on and on.
Remembering Brother Boyd Thompson

"I never saw a down Boyd. He moved like an old man until he had something to do; then he was rip-roaring and ready to go." -Bill Coen, executive director of alumni programs at UOP
Boyd Thompson, an outstanding alumni of Pacific, and lifelong supporter of Omega Phi Alpha passed away from a heart attack at age eighty-one. A memorial service was held in Murphys, California that gave friends and family a chance to remember Boyd. Despite the circumstances, it was an upbeat event at which memories were shared by family, co-workers, and fellow Omega Phi's. In the picture above, Boyd leads house yells at the first Monagan Award Dinner with Brother Darren McGavren. Athletic events will not be the same at Pacific without Boyd leading the cheer. Boyd will be missed by all that knew him. He was truly a bulldog until the end. Cogito Signum.
