DU Transition Update
The active brothers have been working hard, and have nearly doubled their numbers in the 2004-2005 school year. We are well on our way to becoming an official chapter of Delta Upsilon. We would also like to let the Pacific Community, and most importantly our alumni know that this transition does not encompass forgetting our past. The traditions of both Omega Phi Alpha and Delta Upsilon have been, and are continuing to be blended; something our fraternity is not unfamiliar with. An important tradition that will never die is the fact that our bros are always welcome at home. We are tentatively planning an Initiation date on October 15, 2005.
Kitchen Update
We have recently acquired a new industrial refrigerator, freezer, and numerous utensils and other cookware. Probably the most important new addition to the kitchen has been our new cook, Dave Cook. The meals have been great, so any alumni in the area, feel free to stop in for dinner.
A Big Thank You!
Not only does Walter Chang '82 continue to support the fraternity and University through his involvement as President of the Alumni Corporation, and volunteering with the Alumni Association with both the University and Eberhardt School of Business, but he has recently pledged a large sum of money in order to purchase new couches and blinds for the living room. We continue to appreciate all of your support, thank you Walter!
