What is 3K9 Ranch???
The name "3K9 Ranch" came from the love and care that Alan and Shirley Eastman have for their three dogs. Alan and Shirley have been the biggest pet lovers from day one. Jefferson is a German Shepard that was put through guide dog training. After going through 8 of the 9 stages of training, Jefferson failed out and found a warming home with Alan and Shirley. Ridge is a mutt. It took two separate occasions of seeing this dog, surviving off squirrels on Pleasanton Ridge, to make the decision to bring him in. Wolfie is a Alaskan pure breed that Alan and Shirley rescued just a day before he was set to be put down. Jefferson, Ridge, and Wolfie are the reasoning behind the ranch's name. The love for animals does not stop there and has now transpired to a lifetime love for horses.
3K9 Ranch is a private facility that commits to providing a friendly environment. This ranch is designed for the user; "what is mine is yours." The environment is conducive to riders of all ages and skill levels. Unlike large commercial facilities, people can improve their horse and improve their skills at a ranch that they can call their own. At 3K9, the bond between horse and rider is held at a premium.
