Job Responsibilities
I provide administrative support to the Dean, including supervision of the School of Engineering & Computer Science "Student Services” programs. Some personal responsibilities with these specific programs include:
Cooperative Education
Teach Professional Practice Seminar.
Write grants.
Conduct personal visitations with students on Co-op.Outreach Program
Conduct enrollment and retention-related research.
Plan, implement, and maintain programs related to increasing the School’s visibility and communication in high schools and community colleges.
Coordinate articulation agreements.
Alumni Affairs
Support meetings, communications, activities, and fund raising with the Alumni Association.General Administration
Prepare materials for and represent various departments in accreditation.
Oversee new-student orientation.
Serve as the faculty advisor for Technology Minor and the International Engineering Minor Programs.
Write school policies.
I have also taught word processing, database, and page layout computer workshops

Initiated Outreach Program, successfully increasing new admissions by 150%, concurrently boosting average SAT scores over 100 points.
Initiated Minority Engineering Program which resulted in a MESA contract, minority enrollment increasing over 200%, and the hiring of several full-time staff members.
Placed 100% of my Co-op students every term.
