The Virtual Heart Lab is dedicated to the prevention of sudden cardiac death by designing better ways to terminate ventricular fibrillation. The lab name refers to the anatomically and physiologically accurate computational model of the heart which we have developed. You can learn more about what we do here.
The lab is located in the School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of the Pacific. If you would like to visit, please contact Dr. James Eason.
The Virtual Heart Lab has been supported in part by the Whitaker Foundation, the W.M. Keck Foundation, and the Jeffress Memorial Trust.
