Jennifer T. Ross

Electrical and Computer Engineering

Jennifer  Ross rejoined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in  2008 after serving here form 1993-2000.   She is returning after spending four years living abroad in Australia.  She completed her Ph.D. and M.S in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 1993 and 1990 respectively. During her graduate work at Berkeley, she conducted research at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory (LBL) growing and doping wide band-gap semiconductors. Jennifer came to California from Illinois where she completed her B.S. in Electrical Engineering, from the University of Illinois in 1988.   At UOP she focuses on engineering education and teaches courses in analog Integrated  circuits.

She is currently the Director of the Engineering Physics Degree Program, and is an active member in: IEEE - Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, ASEE - American Society of Engineering Education, HKN - Eta Kappa Nu, Electrical Engineering Honor Society, and AWIS - Association for Women in Science
