Introduction
Hi! My name is Lisa Mak, I graduated from the University of the Pacific's (a.k.a. Pacific, formerly known as UOP) School of Engineering and Computer Science in December 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Information Systems emphasis) and a minor in Business Management. This purpose of this site is to let people learn a little bit more about me; things that they might not have learn during a conversation or an interview.
08/25- I'm currently in the middle of updating my site, so some of the things might not be working. My technique for creating/managing websites is to create a basic layout and have people (mainly friends) to review it, implement changes, review, and then fine-tuned the smaller details. Some might say I have no sense of design if I ask people to review my site, but as a web developer I have to be open to opinions. For example, having Flash on a site sure looks nice, but not everyone has the Flash plugin, and some place (ex. schools, libraries) will prevent you from installing 'unauthorize softwares'. And some people might not have enough RAMs to support/run the visual display from the Flash. It is they who I am building the site for; thus they have to like it and their opinions matters.
Currently: I have just finished the basic layout of my site and I'm now rewriting the content.
