Nick's Background and Personal Information

Background:
I graduated from Escalon High School in 2001.  Escalon is just north of Modesto and 30 miles east of Stockton.  As a Cougar, I ran track for three years: sophomore, junior, and senior year.  My events were the 100m and 200m dash and the 4x100m relay, and I received the coach's award.  UOP doesn't have a track team, but I participate in flag football and softball intramurals.  I am studying at UOP for a degree in Engineering Physics.

Personal Information:
I currently live at home in Escalon and commute to school five days a week.  In my "spare time", I like to do just about anything with my friends.  We play football, basketball, laser tag, and video games.

Here are a couple of my friends:

They're both engineers with their own web sites, too.  Click on their names to go to their personal UOP sites.

I enjoy modifying and driving my lowered 1996 Chevy S- 10 Xtra-cab pickup.  It's white with blue interior.  A 1997 Chevy Blazer grille and composite (flush) headlights are installed on it.  Beneath that is a StreetScene air dam with driving lamps.  The truck is completely dechromed, and custom rearview mirrors have been added.  The tailgate has been "shaved" and a roll pan was installed.  It's been lowered three inches and rolls on fifteen inch Centerline wheels with Goodyear Eagle GTII tires.  The 4.3 liter Vortec V-6 breathes with the help of a K&N air filter and a three inch custom Flowmaster-equipped exhaust system.  My favorite part is the stereo system, though.  It currently consists of a Jensen cd/casette deck with two 12" Jensen subwoofers and a 500watt Jensen amp.  The dash and doors are loaded with 3-way Memphis competition speakers.
