Goal

•     While attending the University of the Pacific I will be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Maybe a degree in Engineering Management.

• Currently working at Fowlers Machine Works Inc. Modesto, California
• Classes are engineering related
• Engineered a cardboard boat for engineering lab
• Taking part in SAE and Society of Mechanical Engineers

As with any profession team work and communication is part of the work place.  Nobody works on a project alone any more.  In my engineering lab we work on team work every week with in class projects and a outside project.  I was out in put a group and it required we work outside the class which used communication skills and when we worked together.
 

Professional and Personal Growth

I grew up in a small town and now I am going to expand my horizons at the University of the Pacific.  I am enrolled in the engineering program and working towards my degree.  In my engineering lab we work in groups and works on team work and communication skills. A group I was in just completed a project which required us to build a boat out cardboard.  It did not work out the way we wanted it to work out.
